With deep joy, the Sangchen Ogyen Tsuklag Monastery in Trongsa, Bhutan, is honoured to make the following announcement:

Following many years of devoted supplication, Vajradhara Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche has graciously accepted to bestow the complete cycle of empowerments, reading transmissions, oral instructions, and guidance teachings of the luminous Great Perfection teachings of the Longchen Nyingthig, the profound treasure revelation of Rigdzin Jigme Lingpa.

These teachings will be held during the coming Bhutanese lunar year, from the 18th day of the 2nd lunar month to the 3rd day of the 3rd lunar month of the Fire Female Sheep Year, corresponding to 23 April 2027 through 9 May 2027.

Over the course of these two weeks, the empowerments and transmissions of the Longchen Nyingthig root texts will be bestowed, together with explanatory teachings on the practice manuals, as well as guidance on the generation-stage practice known as “The Stairway Leading to Akanishtha.”

We warmly invite all practitioners and followers to note these dates and arrangements to attend this rare and sacred gathering.
